About Dr. Robo - Tremolo
Dr. Robo is a tremolo effect for guitar, keyboards, synths and other audio, wrapped in a vintage science-fiction pedal.
Turn SPEED for slow movement or rapid rhythmic pulses. CLOSE controls tremolo depth, from subtle sway to a deep chop. PITCH changes the pulse shape, and the OSCILLATOR trimmer adds stereo motion.
Scroll the mechanical tempo counter to set the tempo, or tap it to tap in a beat. The counter and SPEED knob stay in sync. In an Audio Unit host, enable HOST SYNC in the help menu to follow the session tempo and select rhythmic divisions.
Use Dr. Robo as a standalone live audio effect with your audio interface, or load its AUv3 Audio Unit extension in a compatible music app. The built-in help explains the controls.
Audio is processed locally. No account or subscription is required. For standalone live use, connect an instrument through a compatible audio interface and use headphones to avoid feedback.
