Nanitch: Nude Beach Social Map downloads
Worldwide, per day, and installs to date. The band is open; the exact number is free with an account.
How this is calculated
Apple publishes no download counts. iPhone downloads come from chart positions and daily rating growth per country, calibrated on Google Play install counts; lifetime installs from ratings worldwide × installs per rating. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.
Active users
All platforms, worldwide. Free with an account.
Stickiness (DAU / MAU)
how many monthly users open it on a given day
How this is calculated
Monthly users come from lifetime installs across every store, fitted on monthly active user figures companies publish; daily users = monthly × the typical daily/monthly ratio for the category. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.

About Nanitch: Nude Beach Social Map
Nanitch is the map of places to soak, sweat, and swim — hot springs, saunas, bathhouses, cold plunges, and clothing-optional beaches. Over 11,000 of them, worldwide.
There are two kinds of spots here, and we always tell you which you're looking at.
A hand-checked core: visited, moderated, and confirmed by members who have actually been there. And a much larger layer imported from OpenStreetMap — real places, correctly located, that nobody has confirmed yet. Those are labelled as exactly that. You will never be told something is verified when it isn't.
Nanitch is completely free — no subscriptions, no ads, no in-app purchases.
WHAT YOU GET
- 11,000+ hot springs, saunas, onsen, bathhouses, cold plunges, swimming holes, and clothing-optional beaches.
- "Know before you go": legal status, best season, access notes, where to park, first-timer tips, and live weather at each spot.
- Member confirmations and freshness dates, so you can tell a solid spot from an iffy one.
- Filters that matter: swimsuit or clothing-optional, good for a first visit, recently confirmed.
- Ratings and SFW, pre-moderated photos from real members.
- Save spots, track your visits, and earn badges as you explore.
- Community events you can find and RSVP to.
- Works on any phone — the map runs on the web too, no app required.
BE THE FIRST
Thousands of places on this map have never been confirmed by anyone. Go to one, tell us what it's actually like, and you're credited on it as the first person who did.
BUILT FOR FIRST-TIMERS
New to this? Nanitch tells you where you can actually go, whether it's legal, what the vibe is, and what to expect — with zero pressure.
SAFE BY DESIGN
Naturism here means non-sexual social nudity. There is no nudity anywhere in the app. All photos are SFW and reviewed before they appear. There is no private messaging — none, and there never has been. Report and block tools throughout, with active moderation. You must be 18+ to use Nanitch.
SPOT SOMETHING OFF?
Know a spot we're missing, or one that's wrong or outdated? Tell us instead of guessing — there's a "Suggest a spot or feedback" option right in the app (Me → Settings), or email us any time. We'd rather hear it from you and fix it fast. Help us keep the map honest.

Latest updates
1.4
Tap a pin and the first thing you see is whether to go today.
SHOULD YOU GO RIGHT NOW?
Every spot now opens with a short verdict: the weather at the spot, how recently someone confirmed it is still there, the latest reports, and whether today is in season. Written by AI from real member reports and weather, labeled as such, and never a substitute for the legal line underneath. Give it a thumbs up or down so we know when it gets one wrong.
ASK ANYTHING
Right under the verdict. Parking? Water temperature? First-timer friendly? Ask in plain words and get an answer built only from that spot’s own facts and member notes.
THE SPOT PAGE, REBUILT
Photos first, as a swipeable carousel. Two buttons: Directions and I’m here. Tap I’m here and the confirmation lands, then one sheet asks how it was, takes a photo, a note, or a rating. Everything else folds away until you want it: getting there, legal and dress code, what people have said.
ONE MAP, ONE PIN
Pins are colored by what the place is, and the ring says how much anyone knows about it: confirmed, written up, or imported and waiting for its first visitor. The website uses the same pins.
NOTIFICATIONS YOU CONTROL
Me > Notifications: choose what you hear about and when. Reports on saved spots, someone out at a place you care about, your spot’s first confirmation. Quiet hours, a one-a-day cap, and a mute on any single spot. Walk up to a spot and a day or two later we ask one question: still there? One tap answers it.
WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
Star a spot and its map saves to your phone for the trailhead with no bars.
ALSO
Links from nanitch.com and poster scans open straight in the app.
Filter the map by dress code: swimsuits, clothing-optional, or either.
Embers, the open invite to meet at a place, now lives on each spot page.
Spot something off? Me > Settings > Suggest a spot or feedback.
1.2
The map just got a lot bigger.
Nanitch now has over 11,000 places to soak, sweat and swim — hot springs, saunas, bathhouses, cold plunges and clothing-optional beaches, worldwide. Wyoming alone added nearly 600 hot springs.
There are two kinds of spots now, and we always tell you which you're looking at: the hand-checked ones members have actually visited, and a much larger layer nobody has confirmed yet. Go to one of those, tell us what it's really like, and you're credited as the first person who did.
ALSO NEW IN 1.1
Today — a new home tab. Who's out right now, what people have reported, and what's worth a look today.
Plans — post an open meetup at a spot and let people join. There's still no private messaging, and there never will be. You meet by showing up.
Nearby alerts — an optional heads-up when you're near a spot, and a two-tap way to report conditions for whoever comes next.
Ask about this spot — a straight answer to "is this legal?", "where do I park?", "will it be busy?"
What to expect — a plain-language summary on every spot.
Conditions reports — crowd, water, parking, in a few taps while you're standing there.
Photos — take one in the app, and heart the ones you like. The favourite becomes the spot's cover.
Swimsuit or clothing-optional — a filter that's always visible, so you know what you're walking into before you go.
A proper walkthrough — the app shows you around the four tabs the first time you open it, and you can replay it any time from Me.
A faster map — rebuilt to stay smooth now that there are eleven thousand pins on it.
