Wick: Live Secret Word Races

Guess the secret word by meaning, not spelling. Type any word and Wick tells you how close it is: icy blue when you’re cold, warming to red-hot as you close in. One fresh word a day, the same for everyone.

The daily runs entirely on your iPhone. Most apps that say “AI” ship everything to a server; Wick keeps the daily local. The meaning-based scoring and the AI “Keeper” both run on your device, so it works on a plane, on the subway, anywhere with no signal, and nothing you type into the daily ever leaves your phone. Racing friends is the one online part.

Now in five languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German. Switch anytime in Settings, and race friends who play in another language.

HOW IT PLAYS
One secret word each day, all on one screen. Type any word and Wick scores it by meaning, not letters. Cold guesses stay icy blue; you heat toward red as you get closer, and the screen warms with you. Every guess also tells you whether you got warmer or colder than your best.

MEET WICK, THE KEEPER
Stuck? Wick is the AI guarding the word. In the same box you guess with, add a question mark to ask him anything: “Is it alive?” or “Bigger than a car?” He answers honestly, remembers what you’ve asked, and has a personality all his own. He’ll tease you, cheer you on, shake when you’re boiling, and celebrate when you land it. He’ll never just tell you the word. Asking is free, and so are your first three hints every day.

SHARE YOUR SOLVE AS A VIDEO
Finish a round and tap Share replay. Wick hops across a board of your guesses, from your coldest word to the answer, with the questions you asked along the way. It saves to Photos, ready for TikTok, Reels or Shorts. Daily replays hide the day’s word and your closest guesses, so you can post the same day without spoiling anyone.

RACE YOUR FRIENDS
Finish the daily, tap Race a friend, and send the link. Your friend plays the same word against a replay of your run, move by move, right in their browser with no download or account. They can even play in a different language.

Want someone right now? Race someone live. Wick picks a fresh word and pairs you with another player on a shared clock. Live races have their own soundtrack, and Wick dances to it: a hop on every beat, and a jump and spin when the music drops for the last minute. Turn on Race alerts in Settings and Wick will tell you when someone is waiting to race. Live races need a connection.

DRESS UP WICK
Spend coins in Wick’s Wardrobe on hats, glasses, bow ties, googly eyes, a stuck-out tongue, and more. Wick wears your picks everywhere. Purely for fun.

LEARN AS YOU PLAY
Pick your language in Settings and leave “Play in” switched off: you play the English word and every guess shows its translation (apple becomes pomme). Solve it and the answer appears in both languages. Switch “Play in” on to play the whole round in your language.
